"The comprehensive examination is a program requirement for the Doctor of Philosophy degree from University of Phoenix. Examinations are administered online, and a successful grade must be earned for students to move to the dissertation coursework and candidacy. Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing Program Goals Note. The items labeled as competencies in this course are Doctor of Philosopy in Nursing Program Goals. Competency A: Conduct and interpret health care and educational research for nursing. Competency B: Cultivate interprofessional relationships through collaborative scientific inquiry. Competency C: Advance the development and transformation of nursing education. Competency D: Evaluate frameworks to guide ethical decision making in research, education, leadership, and practice for nursing. Competency E: Appreciate multicultural perspectives within global systems."
