Course level: NUR Graduate

This second of a two-part course series presents an integrated approach to advanced pathophysiology, health assessment, and pharmacology. A key focus is using evidence to guide assessment, evaluate disease process and pharmacological interventions. This course has required lab hours in which students perform and document health assessments in a virtual environment. This course is not available to students who reside Alabama, Minnesota, Tennessee, or Washington.


  • NSG/501: Pathophysiology, Assessment Variables and Pharmacology I - with a passing grade of C or better (or equivalent)
  • Completion of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree 
  • A valid, unrestricted/unencumbered RN license
