Course level: Upper Division
This course covers the fundamentals of research and evaluation in the field of psychology. Topics include critical analysis of research literature, quantitative methodologies, and an introduction to qualitative methods. Emphasis will be placed on understanding connections between research design, theories, and the application of results in psychology. Legal and ethical issues pertaining to research with human subjects will also be covered.
