By Sharla Hooper

Virtual event focused on developing skills in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) and highlighting mental health and belonging is accepting research and practice-based proposals

University of Phoenix will hold its second annual Inclusive Leadership Summit and Career Fair, May 2-4, 2023, and invites proposals from innovative practitioners, scholars, researchers, industry leaders working to address and examine aspects of trauma, accessibility, post-pandemic challenges and the ongoing social and systemic issues that hinder performance and retention.

The Inclusive Leadership Summit and Career Fair is a virtual event, free and open to the public, and will focus on developing skills as an inclusive leader and providing opportunities for networking connection and employment, with a focus on tracks in leadership management, education and healthcare. The event will bring together leaders, scholars and professionals across multiple industries to explore how to prioritize mental health and belonging at the core of strategic operations.

Individuals are invited to submit their proposals and join in an intentional leadership journey to connect, explore and ignite sustainable changes towards inclusive and equitable environments in the workplace and classroom.

Proposals should be engaging, be either research or practice-based, and apply to one of the three tracks:

  • Leadership & Management
  • Healthcare & Behavioral Science; or
  • Education.

The editorial deadline for consideration is Friday, February 3, 2023.
