“Throughout its three decades of operation, JAG has helped thousands of young people stay focused on their education,” said Dr. Eylers. “Ensuring the success of those pursuing their educational goals is a worthwhile effort, and I look forward to working with Jobs for Arizona’s Graduates.”
University of Phoenix works with JAG to help ensure the success of Arizona’s youth during and after high school through a variety of career and college exploration opportunities. As part of this partnership, a handful of students are selected each year to sharpen their leadership training by participating in the University of Phoenix Leads Program. As part of the program, University of Phoenix employees donate their time to mentor students.
Dr. Eylers holds an engineering physics degree from Technische Universität München in Germany, an MBA from the Keller School of Management at DeVry University, and both a master’s degree and Ph.D. in environmental engineering sciences from the California Institute of Technology. At University of Phoenix, Dr. Eylers has held several leadership roles, including associate provost, and is a key advocate for expanding university-wide projects to aid student learning.
