Gross serves as an expert on optimizing for high impact TV across media types

Steven Gross, chief marketing officer of the University of Phoenix joins a panel of experts on television marketing at the renowned Advertising Week New York event October 19, 2022. Held October 17 – 20 and set in the historic Lower East Side of Manhattan, New York, Advertising Week New York brings the creative industries of marketing, technology, and culture together, with more than 10,000 peers and 800 speakers converging for hundreds of hybrid events on the theme, “Celebrating the Confluence of Culture, Commerce & Creativity.”

Gross will be speaking on the panel, “High Impact TV: How to Optimize Your Creative & Media in An Evolving Landscape,” October 19 at 1:55pm ET, dedicated to a compelling conversation on how to take a holistic integrated approach with the right balance of brand versus demand; innovative ways to engage audiences; how to bring influencers into a TV campaign; and the latest in interactive shoppable TV. Gross will discuss University of Phoenix’s innovative approach to upper funnel media, which employs both traditional creative media strategy with newer, influencer-driven content engagement to meet today’s consumers where they are in the digital space.

“I look forward to joining marketing industry leaders at this high-energy event,” states Gross. “At University of Phoenix, we focus on leveraging upper funnel media to help audiences both understand and engage with life transforming experiences offered by higher education. AdWeek provides a critical opportunity to share our ideas, innovations, and successes that help infuse and inspire the enterprise approach to marketing.”

Prior to becoming the University’s chief marketing officer, Gross served as chief executive officer at Calvert Education. He holds a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School and a Bachelor of Arts in economics and political science from State University of New York at Albany.
