Its commitment to the professional development of its members includes best practice guidance on admissions strategies to meet institutional diversity objectives, delivery of academic programs in innovative ways to meet the needs of a changing student body, and exemplary approaches to student retention and completion.

“Our leadership is dedicated to serving our students wherever they are in life, career, and learning,” states John Woods, Ph.D., provost and chief academic officer of University of Phoenix. “Engaging in professional development events such as the AACRAO meeting ensures that our leaders continue to build their own knowledge as well as share best practices and innovations in admissions strategies and program delivery, to the benefit of our diverse student body.”
