# Employee Engagement and Retention in Financial Services, Healthcare and Manufacturing Survey

Narrative Report

University of Phoenix activated this survey to take a deeper look at how career development can be a key method to increase engagement and offer companies a chance to improve their retention, with employees sharing what matters most to them. Commissioned with The Harris Poll this features findings from a survey of managers in financial services, healthcare and manufacturing as well as a smaller survey with workers. The survey highlights contributions of engagement to work quality and innovation as well as perceptions of credit for prior learning as a retention tactic.
