Employer tuition benefits shouldn’t prevent you from receiving loans and grants. However, they may impact how much financial aid you receive. You could receive financial aid to cover the cost that isn’t covered by your employer
Be sure to include any employer tuition benefit as part of your financial aid application.
The employer tuition benefit from University of Phoenix applies to traditional bachelor, master or doctoral degrees. It doesn’t apply to competency-based degrees. Check with your HR department for information on additional tuition benefits.
You are eligible after you’ve declared you’re using your benefits in your student platform, MyPhoenix. The declaration must take place before you enroll for your first class.
To receive the 6th course for free, you must successfully complete 5 courses and start your 6th within the same calendar year. You could receive up to 6 free courses toward a bachelor’s degree, a savings of $1,194 per course. If you have more questions, contact an enrollment advisor and they can help you plan the courses for your 1st calendar year.
Submit the PLA through a journal and/or a portfolio of documented training, licenses and third-party certifications. After you’ve completed your application, speak with an Academic Advisor for more information.
