If you’d like to access the comment feature during the ceremony, you’ll need a YouTube account. See YouTube links above for watching the ceremony. - Commencement videos will be available for viewing up to 30 days after the ceremony. - The personalized slides will be displayed alphabetically (by last name) by degree level conferral (Associates, Bachelors, Masters & Doctoral) for each ceremony. - Watch the countdown timer on the commencement ceremony video to see what degree level name slides are next to help gauge when you’ll be featured. - You won't be shown live during the ceremony but your personalized slide will be. ## How to participate ### 1. Register online REGISTRATION CLOSES March 9 - Log in to[My Phoenix](https://my.phoenix.edu/commencement.html)  - Review eligibility requirements and if eligible to walk select the red**View registration**button - Select**View Schedule and Register** - **Select**your graduating program - **Select**the preferred virtual commencement ceremony time. - **10:00 am AZ/PDT (7 am HST, 11 am MDT, 12 pm CDT, 1 pm EDT)** - **1:30 pm AZ/PDT (10:30 am HST, 2:30 pm MDT, 3:30 pm CDT, 4:30 pm EDT)** - Complete registration._(After you successfully register, you’ll receive a confirmation email.)_ - Late registrations**cannot**be accommodated due to the production schedule for this ceremony. - Friends and family are**not required**to register. Just you! --- ### 2. Personalize your name slide **Please note, all registered graduates will have a slide with their name and degree announced during the commencement.** After your reach the confirmation page while registering you will find a link to**Additional Info**for your ceremony. In there you will find a link to submit your photos and message.**Submit one picture and one message or favorite quote, **to be featured on your personalized name slide, which will be displayed when your name is read. Also, you can share how you want your name pronounced. _If you’re not planning to wear regalia, be sure to dress professionally to look your best for your photo._ If you cannot provide a photo and/or message by the deadline date, please know there will still be a slide with your name, degree and name announcement for the ceremony. **Deadline to submit one photo, one quote/message:  March 23rd 11:59pm** _We cannot add or change anything on the personalized slides after these deadline dates. _ Sample personal slide --- ### 3. Share content for the celebration video **(Optional, this is separate from your personalized name slide. Please be sure to upload your photo for the ceremony slide before this submission.)** Deadline: March 23rd11:59pm We encourage graduates to submit their own celebratory moments for a chance to be part of our graduate video! These submissions can include graduation parties, pictures with family, impromptu dancing or celebration, walking across a makeshift stage, hat and gown portraits, throwing hats in the air, tassel moves, etc. Landscape/horizontal orientation is preferred if possible. Please avoid sending content that includes added graphics, captions, or video transitions. Yes, you are welcome to participate in both. ### How can graduates invite their family and friends to the ceremony? It’s easy. When they become available, send them the direct commencement link to the virtual commencement you registered for prior to the ceremony. Commencements will be available for viewing up to 30 days after the ceremony. ### Will graduates be on camera? If not, how else can people participate live? No. Graduates will not be on camera and therefore no camera is required. However, everyone is encouraged to post celebratory comments in the chat window throughout the ceremony, which is viewable to all. ### Is regalia required? Regalia is not required, but some students might want to order a set for pictures or memorabilia. It will be available the day of the ceremony as well as one month after the ceremony.
