The RN to BSN degree online at University of Phoenix is a post-licensure education program.  You can also transfer an associate degree in nursing (ADN), if applicable, to complete the program faster. No, a bachelor’s degree in nursing is not the same as a registered nurse (RN). A BSN is an educational degree in nursing.
