How providers/donors can list a scholarship

Listing a scholarship is easy, the provider/donor just needs to email the following information:

- Link to scholarship information  

- Name of scholarship
- Amount
- Deadline
- Requirements

### Where do I send scholarship checks?

### What should I include with the scholarship check?

- Student’s full name
- Student’s IRN (student ID number)
- Scholarship provider’s contact information
- Letter from provider with any scholarship disbursement requests

### How are scholarships disbursed?

Scholarships are disbursed in compliance with the provider’s terms. If the provider does not indicate disbursement information, University of Phoenix will apply the funds to the student’s account to be used only for tuition and fees.

### Do students need to endorse their scholarship check?

**No**. Students do not need to endorse their scholarship check because funds are applied directly to their student account.

### How do I request information about a student’s financial aid status?

Requesting information regarding a student’s financial aid status must be handled by the University of Phoenix Financial Aid Processing Center. Please fax all requests to 480.598.4390. Processing time is 48 hours.

Students must complete a FERPA* release listing the scholarship provider in order for this request to be processed.

*FERPA stands for Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act and is a Federal law that protects the privacy of student education records. ### Where do I make additional requests?

To request letters of enrollment verification, acceptance letters or transcripts call the Office of Admissions and Records Support Center at 800.866.3919. Processing time is 48 hours. If the request is being sent by mail, please allow seven to ten business days for delivery.

### Are there restrictions on scholarship funds?

Scholarship funds processed by University of Phoenix cannot be restricted to pay specific fees due to the amount of scholarships received by external donors.

### Can I receive a confirmation of enrollment?

Yes. Your current enrollment status can be found on your student website in your[Academic Plan](https://my.phoenix.edu/academic-plan.html).  The University of Phoenix Registrar’s Office can also provide a confirmation of enrollment at your request in order to process a scholarship payment. However, we cannot provide confirmation of continued enrollment.

### Can I receive an academic performance evaluation?

The University of Phoenix Registrar’s Office will provide an academic performance evaluation at your request in order to process a scholarship payment. The student will select to provide you either the official University of Phoenix Transcript or the University of Phoenix Letter of Good Standing. We will provide this directly to the student or mail it to you.
