You'll learn how we are leading in career-focused education. 00:52 As employer hiring and mobility practices increasingly emphasize skills, our students can be confident that their degrees line up with real-world careers. 01:03 We have advanced the dynamic and institution-wide shift to skills-aligned learning, embedding authentic assessments 01:10 into our skills-aligned curriculum, so that students might quickly identify the skills they are building throughout their coursework. 01:19 In 2023, we achieved 100% skills alignment in our Associate's, Bachelor's and Master's Degree Programs open for new enrollment. 01:29 We know that if individuals can identify their skills while they are learning, they can more quickly also identify career opportunities, and make career shifts. 01:39 With the launch of our Career Navigator Platform in 2023, students now have a place where they can easily reference their Skills Profile 01:46 and digital badges, explore career goals, and search job postings. 01:52 The easy-to-use Career Guidance Platform expands the ecosystem we built around our career services for life commitment, 02:00 helping students navigate their career journey with confidence. 02:04 In addition to building upon our career-focused education, we've also worked hard to offer an affordable education. 02:11 We work with students to evaluate and identify transfer credits, eligible alternative credits, and credits for prior learning. 02:19 In 2023, this effort helped our students save over $100 million in tuition, between discounts, scholarships, and other savings. 02:30 I invite you to explore more about how University of Phoenix Research Centers advance understanding of workforce issues. 02:37 In fact, the University of Phoenix Career Institute and Career Optimism Index, our annual study of workplace sentiment 02:44 and employer perspectives, provides research into the solutions that today's employees and employers need. 02:52 It positions University of Phoenix squarely at the intersection of higher education and the labor market.
