## About Neider

As Associate Provost of Colleges, Dr. Christina Neider brings a background with military service, leadership and a deep understanding of human behavior to her role overseeing the University’s colleges and library, with responsibility for program performance, program learning outcomes, and career readiness.

Dr. Neider’s career spans over 30 years in academia, health care and the United States Air Force. During her two decades at University of Phoenix, she most recently served as the Dean of the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences leading the program offerings in the social and behavioral sciences industries. Under her leadership, the College was granted programmatic accreditation of the Online Master of Science in Counseling/Clinical Mental Health Counseling (MSC/CMHC) program by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP), and of the Bachelor’s of Science in Social Work program by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). Her other leadership roles include the associate dean of undergraduate studies in the College of Health Professions, the Dean of Assessment and the Assistant Dean of Curriculum.

**Christina Neider**Associate Provost

Prior to joining the University, Dr. Neider spent over 11 years in leadership roles in the United States Air Force. Her roles included being the non-commissioned officer in-charge of instruction by managing training resources, classrooms, laboratories and equipment. In addition, she led teams to support aviation resources during peace and wartime missions by providing data to Army and Air Force pilots to ensure safety of all military personnel and assets.

Dr. Neider holds a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Leadership from Northcentral University and holds graduate degrees in education (MAEd) and psychology (MSP) from University of Phoenix.
