This course introduces students to the diagnostic criteria for character- and personality-based disorders. Students examine the intricacies of multiple disorders related to character and personality issues. The course addresses the prevalence of these disorders within society, with a special focus on the effects on the criminal justice system. Students learn basic identification and intervention techniques.
