Dissertation alignment is a key concept in writing a dissertation. Alignment must be evidenced throughout the proposal and final dissertation. Each section of the proposal is focused and consistent on specific content of the proposal elements. This workshop session will help students narrow their focus and develop consistency in presenting the Title, Problem Statement, Purpose Statement, and Research Questions throughout the proposal and dissertation. Proper alignment ensures the methodology is sound. Examples of alignment for each of the research chapters will be presented during the session.
